Built high in the historic hills of Gallilee, this is an authentic, handmade Flamenco guitar from the British maker G.Weigert.

This is a traditionally built flamenco guitar, which means that it is built entirely using hand tools and in the manner of Spanish guitars. Much of the construction technique has been inspired from what I have learned of those emplyed Antonio de Torres. As such, this is a very lightly built guitar (total weight 1280g) with a very thin soundboard, making it very powerful and responsive across the range, with a deep, rich tone, charming character and authentic flamenco sound and feel.

I do not employ any mass production techniques or any other workers. A guitar such as this is the culmination of several months of careful work and attention by a single artisan luthier. It cannot be compared to a factory made guitar. All of my guitars are unique and individual in both appearance and tone and frequently are highly favoured by owners of esteemed guitar collections and by dedicated, discerning musicians around the world.
