Seven mp3′s to Practice Flamenco Tangos

Here are seven songs you can practice Flamenco Tangos on guitar without spending tons of cash on practice CD’s. They are split up into two categories one for beginner or warm up and the second is for the advanced player or once your fingers are loose and ready to play. I found all of these songs on iTunes for 99 cents a each so for under six dollars you can be playing and practicing Tangos!

Beginner:
Lo Mejor De Juana – Juana la de Revuelo
En lo alto del cerro de Palomar – Estrella Morente
Naita – Ojos de Brujo

Advanced:
Asomada A Mi Balcon – La Tana y Paco De Lucia
Tangos Del Arco Bajo – Vicente Amigo
Del Amanecer – Jose Merce

Also if you are looking for just a solid practice backing track in order to work on some falsetas do a search in iTunes for Mojacar. Stephen Dick from Mojacar Flamenco was cool enough to go through the effort of putting up great practice tracks and again at a very affordable 99 cents per track. Counting this track you are still under seven bucks… not to bad!

This is by no means the only set of songs to practice with… just a small list that I use. Share with us your favorite set of songs you like to practice Tangos with by using the comment form below.

Enjoy!

Isn’t there anything like this on YouTube? I don’t want to line Steve Job’s pockets with my hard earned cash.
