MP3 Player in a Post!

We have a new feature here on the forums to announce! You can now embed mp3 files in your posts! Now you can share your recordings with other forum members around the world. All you have to do is add your mp3 file as an attachment to your post. Thats it! No need for special tags or anything else just simply use the attachment feature when creating a post or use the "Go Advanced" feature when replying to a post.

NOTE: Please comply with all copyrigth laws. Any violations will result with the removal of the content and suspension or banning of your account.

I'm sorry Falseta, I couldn't follow how to embed the mp3. Could you explain in more detail please? Thanks.

No worries Mik...

1.) Have an MP3 that is of you or material you have copyrights to.
2.) Upload the MP3 to your website or other hosting site so that it can be reached from the web.
3.) Open the thread here on the forum where you want to stream your MP3.
4.) Cut and Paste the exact url of MP3 location. For example my test url is: http:/ /www.falseta.com/audio/test.mp3
5.) Using what is called bbcodes (bulletin board codes) put an opening tag at the beginning of the url that looks like this: [mp3]
6.) Put a closing tag at the end of the url that looks like this: [/mp3]

So thats it! The entire string that is used to embed an MP3 in your post should look like this:

[mp3]http:/ /www.falseta.com/audio/test.mp3[/mp3]
