I sold a guitar to a guy on the other side of the US.
I used a service called escrow.com. Here's the basics of how it works: The buyer deposits money into an escrow account. The seller ships the guitar to the buyer. The buyer has a pre-determined amount of time to inspect/play the guitar. Let's say the inspection period is one day. The buyer must accept or reject the sale within that time frame. If the buyer exceeds the inspection time without responding, then the sale closes, and seller gets the money. If the buyer rejects the guitar, he has to pay to ship it back, and his deposit is refunded. It minimized the risk to both parties. You can go on line and learn more. There are fees to both buyer and seller. But, the fees were an acceptable alternative to just shipping a guitar to someone on faith...or vice versa, someone handing over a lot of money, and hoping I would send them a guitar. |

Alonte, check out La Falseta online. He sells a variety of different guitars and has a good reputation.
I am considering selling my Vicente Sanchis (pegged) blanca, if interested. Spruce and cypress, all solid woods. michael |

George, I might be interested in the Ramirez. Can you send me the dimensions---nut width, scale length, etc., to me? Also, is it a friction peg or geared tuners? Coudl you email a photo or two? Thanks.
