Talking Need your two cents here!!!!

Hi everyone!!!

I am new here and to the world of Flamenco as well, I would like to know everything I need to know about Flamenco dance. I have been salivating to take classes since I learned how to count, but we are not that financially stable then (sigh). Now that I have my own job and that my mom has finally allowed me to take classes just two minutes ago, (I still feel it is my moral responsibility to ask her permission, hehe) I now am embarking on this wonderful journey.
Due to my excitement, I have started a scrapbook about my Flamenco experience (my mom doesn't know I already signed up for classes) so I would need some useful and witty facts and trivia about Flamenco dance so that I could stuff it all in my scrapbook.....I'll be thankful for any help you could give me!!! Many thanks!

Start with group classes, and keep going, even though at times you might feel very lost or feel like you don't know what you are doing. It takes a long time to build up the stamina and coordination (for me anyway), but eventually it is so rewarding to be able to immerse yourself.

Listen to flamenco music morning noon and night! Let the compas penetrate into your brain, it will make things have more sense. And of course more importantly feel the words...good luck!
