Black Sheep is on a distinguished road
Default Humidity...

I'm about to swan off to a beach resort somewhere for 9 days of sitting around doing very little. I want to use the 9 days to consolidate the stuff I've been learning. So guitar in tow, off we go... But coming from a dry Aussie summer to very high humidity... what's that going to do to my guitar?

Nothing if I'm careful?

Or not worth the risk of warping? Splitting? Damage?

My alternative is to find a cheapie to fly with and leave that one at my office for lunchtime scales and picados practice...

What would you guys suggest?

Well I would suggest to take it with you, first of all, you bought this guitar dreaming to use it for this kind of events...

Be carefull ofcource, unlock the case and leave it standing over night, second day, play it for 15 minutes, while playing, leave the case open to fil it wit moisture air.
Put the guitar in it, and the day after the guitar is probably adapted to the moisture circumstances.

When you go back be more carefull, dryness is more bad than moisture, and a rapid change is the most dangerous, so let the guitar get used to the dryness even slower.

Beach resort......doing nothing.....need somebody to carry your case??
