strings been on over a week
three shows on weekend
quite a bit of capo on frets 2,3 and 6.
no Obvious pitting of bass strings!!

understand these strings may be a bit bright and loud for some and depends on the guitar etc
but my ramirez blanca has really opened up to them unlike all the others i've tried

so much louder and punchier and so much more tonal variation , warmth and brilliance

really do try these....curious to hear others opinions...
imagine there are other titanyl strings out there...

I have been looking for a solution to the problem of the dead tone of the G string, I thought gut strings might be the answer, so i got a set of varnished normal tention VERY EXPANSIVE, not only was the G string dead sounding but after a few hours of playing the first e string broke half way from the sound hole and the bridge. I think gut strings are better suited for classical guitar but not for flamenco! So I got from Strings by Mail some silver plated wounded G string (527R)made by Savarez, it has the sustain perhaps a little to much but we will see, it should dull a little with time. I don't like the frosted finish of the nylon e,b,g. of Savarez it makes a friction sound. So far I am satisfied with D'Addario Pro.Arté (EJ45).

Bad news, silver plated wounded G string (527R) by Savarez only lasted a few days of normal playing, the wounding split at every fret. I am about to try some nylon wounded G string (529R) again from Savarez I will let you know What that's like.

I am a beginning student of the Flamenco guitar, having been a captivated listener for the past 50 years. I just purchased a Yamaha CG172SF Flamenco guitar to learn the basics but am considering upgrading to a Corboda F7, this based on playing its classical brother-the C7. Has anyone played the Cordoba F7 and if so, how would you rate it as a "beginner's guitar?" I am also new to the Forum and am glad to be a member. Thanks; John
