Hi Randymoon,

I think you can download tefview on a mac and open the tefview files.
here you can download tefview for free.
TablEdit Tablature Editor -

There is load of tabs on the internet with tabledit, ( tefview is the free tabledit reader)

Hope you can run this on your mac

The guitar pro files you need guitar pro for, that is not free.
