Hi Scholomance,
Nice all the differences! So the same wood, and a totally different guitar in character ![]() Funny to hear your taste of sound seems to change a bit in time, I Like the sound of paco del Gastors guitar a lot, it is one of the reasons I started looking for a Gerundino, seems that some Conde's have the same character though.... A correction is in order.
I finally found the information on the Blueridge I've been looking for and found out I was wrong on several things. I guess I'll put it down to being a beginner. The top isn't solid cedar. It is laminated sitka spruce. For that model a solid top would have an S designation in the model code. It was Blueridge's lowest priced model at the time according to a page in their early catalog reproduced on a forum dedicated to the Blueridge brand. It is an OM, or orchestra model guitar, more or less the American designation for the early american produced classical style guitars. It sold for $149 in the early 1980s. When I grow up I want to get a real flamenco guitar! Damn, i should have found a way to get that Ramirez! Estanislao |

Bought mine first flamenco guitar this week. It' s a second hand Alhambra 3F, payed 200 euros for it. Looks like new.
I have now lessons for 4 months, maybe in a couple of years I will buy a more expensieve one. regards Meeuw |
