Here's a little soleares on my lovely guitar some falsetas by my instructor Stephen Boswell, some I got from Juan Martin, some from Juan Serrano. A few mistakes here and there, but oh well

I use Yamaha C70 but a little changed by me( look at the photos)... Maschine heads are now black, I also put the golpeador on my guitar...and i scraped the bridge of the guitar and get the lower action on my guitar as a flamenco guitar...I think that it's enough to make my guitar sounds "more flamenco"...But I still think and believe that the master is important not a tool that he uses..isn't it my friends?!.. You can also hear how I play on my guitar ( falseta from famous Tomatito's bulerias)..listen and enjoy..please...

There is some truth to that. However, I must warn you. When using guitars of certain measurements, you could create bad habits inadvertently. As an example, if you played a piano that had keys that were 3 inches wide for years, and then switched to a normal piano, you would have to relearn a lot of technique. It is the same with guitars. Even if the strings are spaced a few milimeters off from a traditional design, this could greatly affect your technique, especially once you get a true Flamenco guitar. If you are trying to save money, there are many fine guitars for reasonable prices. One of my favorites for intermediates/beginners is the Kenny Hill New World Flamenco guitars. The wood is stellar and the measurements are very authentic. Avoid bad habits now before it is too late!

You are right in some way.....but this is just space beetwen strings and guitar....it doesn' t change the way of playing but sound of my guitar...I already tried in shops to play real flamenco guitar and I didn' t have any problems ... trust me..

What I was referring to is the fact that a Yamaha guitar is not built exactly to the standards of a real flamenco guitar. Even a millimeter or two difference can be noticeable. A lowered action DOES in fact change the way you play as well as the sound.

Here is a nice example that someone once told me:

A biologist once demonstrated an experiment on a frog. Bringing a pot of water to a boil, he dropped a live frog into it and the scalded animal immediately jumped out of the water to safety. The biologist then put the frog into another pail of water, this time at room temperature, and heated it slowly. Several hours later, the frog had boiled to death, because it had not sought escape from the gradual increase in heat.

Basically, this means that while you will not notice the effect of a "slightly" wrong guitar, over time this will negatively affect you. Whether you take my advice is up to you.
