Default favorite exercises?

ok folks, so what are you favorite exercises for various techniques? we can get a nice library here.

here's one for picado. it's a chromatic speed burst. it's shown here on the g string, but you can do it on any string of course.

My favorite warm up is octaves and scales. I tune open 5th's and a 4th, then test with octaves for fine tuning if necessary. The octaves are great practice and very useful in flamenco. I do my 3 favorite scales for warmup and picato practice even though I mainly use my thumb and not much fast picato. Here are audio examples played on my new Peter Tsiorba just hours after getting it. It is really opening up now. I can work up some tab for these if anyone needs it.

hey sam, the guitar is sounding real great! it has an awesome old school sound.
i don't do much fast picado stuff either but i've been working on it a lot because i'm finding that the ratio between progress vs. time spent practicing with picado is much higher than any other technique.

here's my favorite scale, taken from norman's amazing site.
