A local manicurist recommended a cream called "Healthy Hoof" for strengthening nails. Its said to be an intensive protein treatment, and the jar says: "the original equestrian formula used by horse trainers for promoting healthy hooves".
Anybody used this stuff, or know anything about it? I got a small jar of the stuff ($8.00 Cdn) from her and have been using it daily for about a week. Does seem to make a little difference, but probably too early to tell yet. |

Wow, are you certain it is safe? Is this a human version or the horse version of the product?

Well, I assume its safe. Its distributed by a major cosmetic supplier, and apparently used in beauty parlours.
Why would it not be safe? Its just a protein supplement? |
