Also I found somebody who sells a cd with music from Soy Gitano.
Here is the post, it is from 2004, but maybe they know who it was.....

Vendo el cd de "Soy Gitano" con todos los temas de la novela mas importantes y los que no se consiguen, como por ejemplo:

El tema apertura de la novela por Javier Calamaro, la cancion de Isa y Amador... de Josemi y Mora... de El niño y Maite, el tema que cantaba Maria (.... y esa forma de mirar que tanto me entretiene...), el ultimo tema de la telenovela "A tu Vera"...

...y en exclusiva en edicion limitada el tema mas esperado "Despierta Josemi" del funeral cantado por la excelente voz de Argentina Cadiz y una introduccion al cd encargada por Lazaro Heredia.

Y muchos temas mas caracteristicos de la novela... Gipsy Kings, Rosario, Niña Pastori, Los chunguitos y muchos mas.

Argentina Cadiz is a gypsy cantaora (singer) from buenos aires. She plays with her husband and sons, it's a rare thing to find in my country and in my opinion and many other people i know, they rock, give them a listen on youtube or in that cd you're talking about
