Hi Nader,

The most common sighn for a golpe is a little x, mostly written above the tab,
I have also seen also little squares, an x with a circle around, writen ín the notelines is a muted golpe, used in Tangos and Rumba, ( like the Gipsy Kings or for instance used in La Lola from Paco Pena)

Golpe means strock the soundboard by one finger or tow, the X means dumping " stop the strings ". How can I recognize between them?

Here you have an example from both.

The X for dumping is mostly with a circle around and written IN the notation lines, not above.
Also I have seen a little G wrote above the music.

Some books use a small square above the note.

and some use an * but my favorite is a G with a square around it. If a transcription uses either X's or *'s, I will mark a G squared over it to avoid oversight.

Just with the ringfinger( eventually together with the pinky) after the rest. It is there a single golpe you make after you have finished your i finger strokes.

Nader, It is sort of a twisting motion. As you push down and out with the index, your ring finger goes in and down to the top. Also use can use your thumb. This is seen if bass notes precede the chord. I would advise just practicing this motion over and over till it comes automatic.
