Hi everyone, as a passionate fan of flameco i struggle to find many artists.
The ones i currently know and like are chambao and paco de lucia... the sort of sound im looking for is along these lines YouTube - Jose Ramirez performs Flamenco @ Hastings Music for Guitar Then & Now Workshop YouTube - 2000 Conde Hermanos 1a blanca I personally think when flamenco is mixed with many instruments and other solos that you loose the raw talent and captivating sound. but thats just me also anyone know any good female vocals over flamenco to look for? thaaaanks abunch to anyone who can offer advice, i plan on learning to play after i leave university!!! |

Hi Sulouh,
Here is a website with a lot of flamenco cd's, you can listen to fragments if you like the singer / performer or not. At the left side you can choose for singers cd's or guitar cd's. https://www.flamenco-world.com/tienda/categoria/cd/5/ Female singers are there a lot! F.I. Nina Pastori, Estrella Morente, La macanita. If you like Chambao, you probably like Bebe too! Saludos! Payul |

Chiquelo, Paco de Lucia, Tomatito, Manuel Sanlucar, Paco Pena are all great Spanish flamenco artists. There are many others like Gerardo Nunez or Vicente Amigo. And these are just the guitarists :P
Also for fusions I personally like indialucia and Pepe Habichuela for some indian-flamenco. |
