Maestros,
It takes me about 2-3 weeks to complete a song with say 50 measures. I'm new off course at the guitar itself let alone flamenco. So I'm wondering if this is normal. It takes me time to get the finger positions right and memorization to work for me. So I keep practicing. Is this time length normal? Perhaps I'm not doing something right and should be faster? I practice a few times a day for 20-30 mins to avoid strain on my hand. Any advice would be cool.. |

Payul,
For a beginner the frustration of learning is immense. So much to do just in one measure. So much to think about. Back to it . Thanks Peresh |

Takes me forever!!! Also new to guitar and flamenco (3 years). Takes me 2 to 3 weeks just to work through a piece and to start getting familiar with it. Polishing it takes 3 months or more. My fingers feel like they are retarded. What can we do but keep at it????
