My name is Mike Matthews

The very 1st music I fell in love with as a quite young boy was Flamenco guitar.
My mother had music from Sabicas, Montoya, Escudero (Music of thePampas) and I was transfixed by the beauty and power of it. I was 8yrs old. I listened to these albums until they
were completely worn out.

Most of my friends are unaware of this music or unable to relate.

I have played for over 40yrs as an amateur guitarist and now have come to believe
and hope that I can at least approach Flamenco guitar. I would like to play to
what ever level I can reach.

you had good company! Last week I bought a collection of 25 LP (Vinyl)
Escudero and Sabicas where amongst them, even together!
With your 40 years of guitar experiance, I am sure you will reach your goals
