Workshop Description:
A palmas and music communication workshop for dancers to learn to play palmas for a variety of dances, to accompany other dancers. Learning the phrasing and accenting of the styles of Solea, Alegrias, Tangos, Fandangos, Bulerias and many more, will help dancers understand how to communicate with musicians and to improvise. Dancers will be able to work with the guitarist and singer more easily.

Students may record their session with video or recording devices. Workshop is $40 paid in advance or $50 at the door. Each workshop requires a minimum of 10 students registered in advance. A professional guitarist accompanies the workshop.
