Stephen Dick of Mojacar Flamenco is having a Festero workshop every Saturday through June and July 2008 in South Pasadena. It is a Juerga type of environment in order to learn how to play at Flamenco Juergas.

Just to follow up on this. I hung out and played at the Festero workshop put together by Stephen Dick of Mojacar Flamenco. Two other guitarist where there and we played for dancers and even had a singer!

Bulerias was the theme for the day so it was a bit of a challenge as I have not played in a long time but I managed to get through it. Workshops will be every Saturday through July so if you can make it down to the South Pasadena area in California bring you guitar, dancing shoes and if you dont have either then just bring your palmas.

I think next week is Sevillanas.
