hi everyone,
i think the best way for me (and i'm sure to everyone) to understand each rythm, is to listen a lot to songs. does anybody knows a cd that collect songs for each rythm?

Liat, you can see my review of the Paco Peña show under the "Would You Shred?" thread. I was not thrilled by its flamenco-ness--it was entertainment for the masses who know nothing of flamenco.

There's a series of albums called "solo compas" that dedicate
a whole CD to each palo. Some have more than one, and there
are a couple of 'various' disks that combine different palos.

The handy thing is that these albums will often start with a
palo with guitar, palmas, singing, and sometimes dancing.
As you go through the tracks, you get the same palo, but
a part is removed. The last version will usually be just palmas
and or percussion.
