Why can't they do something like that in California? And I don't mean the New World Flamrenco Festival

That has been a huge gripe I have had over the years. The last two major performers that came through were Vicente Amigo and Paco de Lucia... And that was years ago...

Plus it seems like the two major shows on the west coast (New Mexico and Irvine) are cancelled this year due to funding...

It looks like we will have to take to the streets and create Flamenco shows the old world way!

hay! Federico there is planty of famenco festivals in carlifornia. just to into facebook "studiotrece producciones" and there we have listed some of the must see flamenco festivals. There you will find that there is flamenco in carlifornia as well. Fasleta: i think flamenco on the streets is flamenco at its best, spontanius, people are doing it out of love and passion for the art.
