Default New to the forum and Flamenco

Hello Everyone,

I live near Washington, D.C. and have recently begun taking flamenco lessons. I started taking classical guitar lessons a few years ago and am finding flamenco to be very rewarding and more "free" to play compared to traditional classical guitar.

I'm looking forward to browsing through the forum to find information on all the same questions I'm sure you all have already covered.

All the best,

Mike

welcome mike!

i've never been there but apparently DC has a healthy flamenco scene. check out ricardo marlow if you're looking for a legit teacher.

at_leo_87,

Thanks for the suggestion! There is quite an active Flamenco culture here, and I fully intend to take advantage of it!

All the best,

Mike
