I've been studying Flamenco for a year in Columbus, Ohio and I'm hooked. I just took a great workshop with Ulrika Frank and Marija Temo which just added fuel to the fire. Right now I'm trying to teach myself to play castanets. While I've learned how to put them on and have good finger coordination, I'm having a terrible time rolling the fingers on my right hand. I feel like the castanets should have a little resistance in my hand so that as i strike them with each finger they spring open a little...instead when i roll my fingers over them, just one sound is made, and not four like I want.

I've scoured the web and found a few videos but I need some more detail - any suggestions on DVDs or online sources which more indepth info? I'd also do online lessons with someone via skype or similar...
