I feel very happy to have found a flamenco community on-line. My name is Elen and I live in Vancouver BC, Canada. I have been studying flamenco dancing for 10 year both in Vancouver and in Spain. I also started a blog about flamenco on gypsyrumor.com where I share my love for flamenco.

I really enjoyed watching you dance the alegrias in that clip on the website -- everything about the performance was very "puro". The cantaora did a wonderful job, and your outfit was very authentic and traditional -- made me think I was watching one of the great bailoras of yesteryear. Looks like you have a great flamenco community in Vancouver. Does Victor Kolstee ever perform out there these days?
