La Peña Flamenca de Seattle hosting a two night engagement called “Fiesta del Verano” at the Ethnic Cultural Theatre, Saturday and Sunday, June 23rd and 24th, 2007. Under the direction of Rubina Carmona, La Peña (comprised of the advanced students of Rubina and Marcos Carmona) will be presenting traditional and modern flamenco music and dance, several new works of choreography. Program highlights include Colombianas, Bulerias por Solea, Mirabras and Siguiriyas. Shows start at 8pm and usually sell out ahead of time so make sure to book in advance!
