Flamenco Dance & Guitar Classes with Paco y Yolanda Arroyo

Paco Arroyo’s affinity to music rooted from his family. Paco comes from a family of musicians, poets and artists. Paco started to play the guitar at the age of 17 and worked in flamenco “tablaos” such as El Cordobés and Los Tarantos, alongside popular artists within the genre. Since 1979, Paco has toured to different countries including France, Venezuela, and Japan before he finally settled in Los Angeles, California. Paco formed a group, “Herencia Flamenca”, along with his wife Yolanda. The group has performed in various venues around California including universities like UC Santa Barbara, UC San Francisco, UC Long Beach, and UCLA.

Yolanda Arroyo began dancing flamenco at the tender age of 3. At the age of 9 she began working on theaters. Her talents have taken her to different countries including France, Japan, US, Mexico, Hawaii and Venezuela. She has worked with famous personalities in the world of flamenco and has performed in various venues including The Fountain, Royce Hall, and Kaufman theaters.

For over two decades, Paco and Yolanda Arroyo have been teaching flamenco guitar and dance classes in the Los Angeles area.
