Dont miss out on the first of three major Flamenco performances at the yearly New World Flamenco Festival held at The Barclay in Irvine California. An extrordinary performer Maria Josẽ Franco is scheduled to perform August 10-12 2007.

Maria Josẽ Franco won many honors and awards from the very beginning of her career, and gained her first company experience as a soloist with the celebrated Compañia Andaluza de Danza under the direction of the famed Josẽ Antonio. She has been a principal dancer with Antonio el Pipa for several years, where she graced the Irvine Barclay stage in 2005 in its production of “Vivencias.” Compañia Maria Josẽ Franco was born thereafter, and her recent production of “De Grana y Oro” was received with acclaim at the 2006 Festival de Jerez.This production features a cast of high-profile performers including Morenito de Llora, Juan Jose Amador and Luis Moneo.
