5. You live in a flamenco deprived area and the internet is your only connection to flamenco.

Absolutely. Plus I have down-time here at work at 4 in the morning
I'd like to say that I'm here for advice, but opinions vary so greatly on forums it is often hard to figure out who is talking out of there butt and who actually knows what they are talking about. Some people will defend Juan Serrano to the death and some will brush him off as a mere also-ran. I own all of his books and know none of his peices. Go figure.

I have no idea quite actually, and if I did I would stop it! But my music would never stop as long as I am alive and free to do what I want. The internet is more or less a fancy for me that has lost it's luster many a time, but the music is something where I am deeply involved, and I never grow tired of it. I do let off now and then with the music to keep myself fresh and new, and rested, but the flamenco forums are just another time waster, and it may as well be, I do the music.

Though, I am quite independant where thought and it's application are intertwined with the art of the flamenco. I guess I like to type, and write more than I choose participation on any forum, and writing poetry is more important than a forum for me, and, I could do with out getting into arguements about stuff which makes no difference to me whatsoever.

I like to think of myself as independant, but for now it's kind of fun, and so again, I have posted on on another thread, although seriously though I don't know the real reason why! And, maybe I don't want to know...

1 and 10 are not likely to apply for me. Deprivation (5) is probably the greatest reason, as I live in a country where flamenco culture is nearly absent. This forum provides with really great opportunities of communication and information, and also allows to get closer to flamenco people.
