When I am working I often listen to "Flamenco Internet Radio"
www pandora com (put dots where the spaces are, I can't post links until I have made a few more posts. I fully understand and agree with the reason for this, the internet being what it is these days.) They have a dedicated Flamenco genre station. I chose to create my own station starting with Paco de Lucia and have been slowly fine tuning it to be "just right" when in the studio. The basic service is free, (although I have found the upgraded service well worth the $36.00 per year in subscription dues). I often here something I really like that I have never heard before and drift over to the monitor to find out who it is... I find it a great way to sample Cd's before buying them. Links to the artist, discography, similar artists, and how to purchase the music either as Cd's or Mp3's are all on the display. Regards, Tom |

I'm just starting to get more into flamenco since I've been learning it on the guitar over the last few months. I would appreciate any advice on cd's to get started with. I have mostly been watching videos on you tube in the meantime.
What would you say are the 5 most important albums to start off a flamenco collection with? |
