Al-Andalus’s sonic genealogy draws from a rich array of root sources – Arabic, Castilian, Jewish, Romany, Jazz and African – to create a refreshing, contemporary, contemplative music. Tarik and Julia Banzi (the founders of Al-Andalus) have delighted audiences all over the world with their inspired singing and playing of traditional Spanish and Moroccan instruments. With their stunning combination of soulful melodies and compelling rhythms, this is music that will turn your head and touch your heart.
