Jeronimo Maya Maya

Jeronimo Maya Maya was born in Madrid in 1977 to a gypsy family with strong roots in flamenco. Jeronimo is a direct descendant of Ramon Montoya. His father Felipe Maya a professional guitarist and his uncle Ricardo Losado el Yunque teach him to live and respect flamenco. Jeronimo began to play guitar at the age of five and by the age of seven performs his first concert in Madrid. Having already shared the stage with greats like Manolo Sanlucar, Camaron de la Isla and Paco de Lucia he begins touring internationally to Japan, Canada, Holand, Italy and France. He has accompanied varies well known cantaores including Diego el Cigala, Chano Lobato, Esperanza Fernandez and Estrella Morente to name a few. Some call him a prodigy and others say he is simply amazing.
